I wanted the residence to be integrated in the environment, so I proposed open spaces, terraces limiting whith the hills, stone walls and wooden elements. I wanted a warm residence with large rooms extended to open spaces; I have also emphasized the texture of the materials proposed with striking color paint.

The entrance to the residence in through a walkway made of a combination of stone treated stairs, platforms, and small gardens and walkways. These walkways are scorted by trees showing the variety of views of the landscape. The site does not interfere with the excellent surrounding views, I just arranged the volumes to enjoy waht was already exposed by nature.

The project is articulated in three main areas; the service area, the social area, and the private one. The service area is located opposite to the to the main entrance of the house; it has been placed in part of the hill, it avoids windows to the facade, and it has been treated with stone walls in order to make it invisible to the visitors.

The treatment in the second floor is the same as the first one.

The social area of the house is proposed in raised levels which give it a lot of presence; it is integrated in the landscape. Above this area, the seconf floor, the private area has been placed using materials found in the surrounding environment such as stones, wood, and water ponds to combine them with modern accesories in order to make the residence integrated in the environment.

Outside the principal entrance, there is a wooden pergola supported by stone columns extended to a small pound. As I always care about the visual ends, the first glance at the inside of the residence leads to a wood treated patio. The patio is open to the hills connecting the social area of the house with the hills borders, the the studio, and the dining room.
